Description

This was a sketch from 1999... pencil on paper. scanned & colored today :) The pose is pretty static and the head was intentionally scaled up a bit, just something different :) UPDATED: corrected the head shape a little, and some other proportion issues. Thank you Adobe for Liquify :)

I like it, although I must say the the head looks a bit odd to me. It's not that you gave her an enlarged head (which is for some an acquired taste), but it looks like that at the same time, it got pushed in a bit at the sides - or maybe stretched front-to-back Maybe it's just me (and that I'm not really a huge fan of the anime/manga stlye) or the perspective. Still, this turned out great with the colors you've used and the the curved elements in the foreground and background.

Very nice presentation here, and good use of colour. I've started some new 2d images myself, after getting a magazine with some tutorials in it, but nothing I'll upload :P Great work.
