Description

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that the price of the (45 minute) cruise, three shillings for an adult and half-price for a child, makes this a view taken some years ago, before our beloved Government in their wisdom replaced our currency system with the present decimal stuff. Prices have also gone up since this was taken (in the 60s); they charge £6.75 for an adult and £3.40 for a child now ... now that's inflation for you! Can't have half of £6.75, either. Great photo, dont remember shillings and pennies ;) ...but £6.75 might not be too bad a deal for what you get.. Since they want almost £30 just to look around a few room at the palace.. now that really ticks me off.
