4097 x 4097 terrain rendered in 3200 x 2400; it may look simple but it took approximately 43 (!) hours to be rendered.

The beach makes it look worth it. The gradient between the water and sand is much smoother. You should do more like this

LutzB, this is one of your best pix and it's worth voting. but the colours and texture are just almost there, but not absolutely perfect. Nevertheless, this one is a wonderful image!
