Description

Captured 6/12/10, at the Centennial Aviation Day celebration held on the grounds of the beautiful Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum in Carson, California. As I usually suggest, better viewed full size. Since the aviation display was a disappointing washout, I couldn't let the trip go to waste, so I decided to concentrate on other things, mainly the colorful individuals who were at the event, e.g., the performers, photographers, people clad in clothing of that long ago era, etc. Anyway, the lovely lady depicted in this collage was from a small television studio located locally, and was doing general coverage of the show. Here she's shown setting up her equipment and waiting around to record the festivities, including speeches on the stage by the mayor of Carson and other civic luminaries. She later asked me who I worked for, and I said, for lack of a something real media sounding, "Renderosity," wherein she replied, "what's that?" Strange, I don't remember what my answer was. Incidentally, her hair reminds me of beachzz, at least in Marilyn's latest avatar. Ta-ta, thankx for the visit, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

Hmm, she has a lot more hair, wonder if it's all hers? She didn't mind you shooting her, I guess. Nice collage!

MrsRatbag: She didn't know I was shooting her. They're so totally involved in their work that photographers are rarely aware of my presence and intentions.

Like to see other photographers/videographers working...to check out all the who, what, when, where, why and how of their operations. Excellent collage Harry...your trademark:)

She is very 'hands off'! I had hair exactly like that in the 80's! Very interesting montage.

Funny - Marilyn was the first person I thought of when I saw the images! She does resemble our friend!!! Wonderful candids Harry! I am glad you stayed positive and made the most of your outing!

Always a great collage Harry. I don’t dare do this because my fear is that someone would be offended by it. Dana
