Con la foto di oggi mi sono accorto di aver raggiunto il traguardo di 300 immagini da quando ho cominciato , su invito di Maria Concetta ( emmecielle ) la mia avventura su RR che si è dimostrata un'avventura avvincente che mi ha messo in condizioni di conoscere bravi artisti e una serie di persone vere con la loro umanità . Qundi sono veramente soddisfatto di questo e voglio ringraziare tutti quanti per l'accoglienza e l'attenzione dedicata al mio lavoro . La Cavolaia minore o Rapaiola (Pieris rapae LINNAEUS, 1758), è una farfalla appartenente alla famiglia Pieridae E'simile alla Pieride del biancospino, ma contraddistinta da dimensioni minori. La fascia apicale è estesa verso il basso fino alla VI venatura. La femmina presenta una sfumatura giallastra e due macchie nere sull'ala anteriore. Le generazioni dei mesi estivi presentano una colorazione più scura sulle parti superiori e sulle parti inferiori dell'ala posteriore, mentre le generazioni primaverili risultano più grigiastre. La specie è diffusa dall'Europa all'Africa del Nord e al Giappone. Alcuni esemplari sono stati introdotti in Nordamerica. Rinvenibile anche in Australia. Diffusa in tutta l'Italia. E' uno dei lepidotteri diurni più comuni e lo si può trovare su terreni incolti, giardini, aree fiorite in genere, ma anche ai bordi delle strade. La fascia altimetrica va dal livello del mare fino a 2000 m di quota in Europa centrale; in Italia si spinge fino a 2300 m. The cabbage Rapaiola or less (Pieris rapae Linnaeus, 1758), is a butterfly belonging to the family Pieridae Pieria is similar to the hawthorn, but characterized by smaller ones. The apical end is extended downward until the sixth vein. The female has a yellowish tinge and two black spots on the wing earlier. Generations of summer have a darker color on the tops and bottoms of the rear, while the spring generations are more grayish. The species has spread from Europe to North Africa and Japan. Some specimens were introduced in North America. Also found in Australia. Spread throughout Italy. One of the most common diurnal moths and can be found on uncultivated land, gardens, flower areas in general, but also by the roadside. I have so many little cabbage butterflies in my yard. They love whatever I am growing - although I do not grow cabbage any longer. This is a very detailed macro.
