Description

Been really busy as of late, so I have been unable to add any new models. Here is the Earth Orbital 1 space station which will soon hit the marketplace. A detailed little station at just under 100,000 polys and 23 texture maps.

Very nicely done! 'cept, one nit, if those are solar panels, only one at a time is gonna face the sun...

The panels are two sided so half of the panels are covered at all times. The panels are also slighty rotated as you will be able to see from the different views when it hits the marketplace.

I would have to agree with geirla, the solar panels may be 2 sided but the placement does not seem to allow for maximum usage. You may want to add some distance from the solar panel to the station for maximum effect. It is alway better to have more power than to always be trying to achieve it. If the designers of the ISS took your stance on the placement of the solar panels they would never be able to achieve maximum efficiency and never be able to have a complete crew to manned the station. Just a thought. Over all a very good presentation, keep up the good work. Cheers, David
