Very sad. From how worn and beaten up she is I would say she served her mistress or mistresses well, and her reward is to now be cast into a corner and forgotten. A doll like this needs to be hugged and cherished; placed safely on a high shelf so that one day when her mistress has grown up and become more aware, she can be taken down and hugged again.
