What a find! What an image! What a commentary! I love this picture for so many reasons; I'm always keen to see images of "urban decay" even if it's not exactly urban. There's a particular commentary that graffiti seems to always convey, and though I can't construct any sort of coherent narrative from it, I'm always interested in the general stories behind graffiti scrawls. This is a great photo.

For me, this is a sad scene... the writings seem to be cries from many who simply feel the need to be noticed...recognized... call out that they exist. Sad that so many would feel so invisible that they feel they have to look for a lasting bit of attention, anonymously.
