Hi there. Those two guys I found on a stroll near my favorite pond in the woods here. I think this could be larvae of wasps or beetles because of they got too many feet. Hope you enjoy, thanks for all the support.

They might be Iris Sawfly larva, Markus. Not sure about the number of legs though!

They are beautiful. I agree with Andrea, they look like they might be some kind of sawfly larvae; usually sawflies have black heads like these, as if they are wearing American football helmets. This is a beautiful capture. As for those odd larva legs, I'm not sure about telling the breed by the number of them, but I DO think they are sawfly larvae. This is a beautiful shot too. I love the details!

I dont think they would be wasp larvae- as far as I know wasp larvae are pretty incapable of doing anything and usually never have a caterpillar like stage- they just look like bloated white semi translusent wasp-blobs. Great capture here- I love how their facing each other and have eaten into the center.
