okay so i reworked it a little....let me know how it looks! i highlighted her backside a bit more, and tried to center the lights on the left more on her, less reflection in the eyes....

In my opinion, just as excellent as the first...with a different artistic emphasis. I like both!!

Looks good, maybe a bit too much ambient light but hell I aint no Spert. I'd overlay the 2 in Photoshop and do a 50/50 blend/normal then run a High Key Glow Action on it but that's me, a photoshopping fool. I think they both look good Lissa Peace

I've never critiqued an image on this site before, so pardon any "cultural ignorance." That said, I am generally pretty critical of the nature of the computer imaging...clothing doesn't mold or flow quite right, necklaces float around necks, feet don't actually seem to touch the ground, teeth often seem to glow and light shines up nostrils. THIS image the EYES are better. HOWEVER, they would be better on the first version. The first version is, in my opinion, much better lit. This one the girl is too bright. Amost like a spotlight is on her. It's just much too much light for only three candles, which granted, may not be the only light source in the room. On both of them, the shadowning of where the hands touch the body is a little off. I can't tell you what exactly, but it's like the hand is not creating shadow on the body. It's more pronounced on Box 1 because of the more subdued lighting. The shadowning of the sole of the right foot also seems too light. And Box 1 half the big toe is shaved off. BUT, Box 1 the character looks like she is actually kneeling on the ground, not cut and pasted in. Had you not asked for critiques, I wouldn't have even noticed most of the above on Box 1. It is clearly a superior image, not to just Box 2, but to most of the 3-D computer images on the site. It is EXCELLENT work. (PS: Sorry if this seems like a rant. I am not known for short e-mails at work either.)
