Description

What, me embarrassed? Gets me where I want to go, doesn't it? Captured 7/12/10, early in the morning, within walking distance of my pretentious palace. Better viewed full size. For beachzz, durleybeachbum, jocko500, MrsRatbag, and tennesseecowgirl, who have an interest in metal corrosion and oxidation. From the pinnacle of beauty, as depicted in yesterday's immaculate Lamborghini, all the way down into the abyss of deterioration and neglect as shown here. Actually, I don't know if this one is driven or not...seems to be all kinds of trash inside. Maybe it was abandoned, although I doubt it. Incidentally, I have oodles of photos of vehicles in various stages of disrepair in my files. Ciao, thankx for looking in, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

I hate to see vehicles ignored in this way. What a shame.

I thought that the truck with the free "fertilizer" was the winner but this one gives the Fertilizer Truck a run for the prize. Wonderful collage. Dana

Oh, I love this! Shots of rusty old beaters always get my attention. I too have a lot of them in my files and have an update of a 1957 Pontiac that I posted earlier, that I will be posting soon. These old Ford vans were pretty durable and this one seems to be hanging in there. It looks as though it has spent the majority of its life outside, if not under water. Of course the fact that it's of a 1975-78 vintage, and now over 30 years old, might have something to do with it. Great capture and it's always nice to find another car person.
