Description

Recent work. Base mesh built-up and refined in XSI:Softimage. Then pulled into ZBrush for more sculpting, texture work, and paint. Atmosphere, and environment created in Vue. Additional postwork done in Photoshop. (XSI/Zbrush/v4/Vue/Photoshop)

Truely a work to be hung in an exhibition. A huge amount of characterization packed into one very tightly cropped portrait. She looks like she is lost in deep thought, of past events. The sepia toning is a wonderful allusion to the past and well reinforces the lost time theme. Love how you have played with the beam, how it puts a boundary on the birds, how it links the image to the frame and how it illuminates the title.. you got a lot of bang from a simple prop.
