It I-10 interstate. haahhaa bet you wonder where the big 40MM guns came from? From the USS Kidd. Man it worth going there to see the UAA Kidd. have a wonderful ship museum and planes, which i missed one plane outside but got a shot of it oudside far away. lol could had been right under it. Anyway it was $8 per person for the museum and go on the USS Kidd. Need the history of the boat look it up on google. I always wanted to go on this boat sent it came to Baton Rouge but never got a change to go. I saw a glass breach too and grave yards and colums of a old house but the house is gone and the colums is still there. Saw a lot and still more to go see. oh saw some of LSU wonderful campas too. He show me where his rooms are and his own place to study they give him. but for now i going to post some wonderful images of this lovely Bridge. Do not even know the name of the bridge. It's the Horace Wilkinson Bridge, named after 3 generations of Wilkinsons who served in the state legislature. It was officially named in 1968, but this is not widely known and some members of the legislature have introduced bills to name it, not realising it has already been named. That was probably a bit embarrassing. I looked it up and got this info from an interesting writeup on http://www.johnweeks.com/river_mississippi/pages/lmiss12.html I've been over this bridge lots of times when going to see my sister. It's always a welcome sight as it means the drive is almost over, but the traffic can be a bit fierce going over it. Excellent image! Wonderful perspective! I'm going to try not to think of those guns pointed my way the next time I drive over it.

Big guns. Big ship! It's quite impressive and your shot is quite fantastic! I always liked war machines, though I'm not a big fan of war itself. There's just something about the way it all looks and you captured that perfectly. This is a great shot.
