Description
Last year we had such bumper crops we were giving things away. This year, practically every fruit and vegetable has failed. In olden times, we'd be hurting, but thank goodness we're not dependent on the crops and I can instead celebrate that the poppies have taken over.

How very lovely. Sweet with the bee hidden in the fold of the petal.

John planted two tomato plants in those upside down planter thingies. We have tomatoes galore. When we planted them in the ground, in the more traditional manner, we had very sparse output. I love this color of poppy! it's just gorgeous, and I love how you've captured that little bee almost hidden by the curl of the petal. You're a darn good photographer!
