Description

This is a 2nd day Blossom of a Mrs. Perry D. Slocum Lotus. This was taken at 2:23 pm and the Lotus Blossom was already starting to close for the day. The bees were swarming all over the bloom today. They only bloom for three days and then the petals fall off. I have two more buds to open in my Koi Ponds this season.
