Description

Our Poor little Magnus is terrified of Thunder. This morning we had such a weather.. A really thunderstorm and Magnus is so scared, as he cannot think about anything else. He walkes around looking for a safe place to stay, but nothing is good enough to feel safe. On this picture he is sitting with my husband. He looks like a werewolf :-) Atleast he stopped the hyperventilation now, he is lying just behind my chair. I wish you all a beautiful weekend. Now the air is refreshing and cool :-) Thank you so much for viewing and kind comments to my previous post and special warm thanks go to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

Poor thing. My cousin's dog is the same, for fireworks, too. He tore up the blinds on the windows when left alone when a storm hit while they were out.

Mine don't mind thunder or other noises...well, my small dogs don't. Sadly, my big, floppy Walker Hound is terrified of any noise and hides behind the bed pillows when a plane flies overhead. :-) Sweet shot.

A great capture and those eyes say it all. Not good that he hates thunder though it must be nerve racking for him.

Poor Magnus, I'll ask my Mandy to give him a call and explain why she has no fear of thunder;-) Great pic. Had the same eyes on Mandy in this one prior to post work. Click Here

It's amazing how so many dogs are actually disturbed by thunder! Cats on the other hand seem to react as if saying "hey, I didn't give it permission to do that!" I've also learned that some chimpanzees actually react to thunder the way that teenagers react to rock-and-roll! Animals are such odd things: so much more complex than we commonly imagine. This is a marvelous shot too...and I'm glad that the thunderstorm has passed...now if only Chicago would have another one. We've had a few, but not enough to cool things off. Oh well. I won't wish for one too much because it'll come on precisely the day I must work outside! Great shot, and I love that green glow in the eyes! What a long tongue too! WOW. Great shot!
