Description

Rear Admiral James T. Kirk scuttles his original command, the 39 year old heavy cruiser USS Enterprise, to prevent the Klingon Empire from obtaining "The Genesis Project" data in 2284. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ (Philippians 3:8) 1701 Enterprise = 1701-A by Dennis Bailey Clouds by Orbital Vinton

the final countdown.. Your picture truely reminds me that the old crew are done making movies - it's sad to think Bones, Scotty, Roddenberry are gone to another demension never to be seen in our present lives again.... KILLER PICTURE and love how you turned the ship on it's side.

I was in the theater when this first came out. I was surprised by how many there cried when the Enterprise went down. but from a practical thought; with as much damaged and destruction that Kirk did and caused during his command, he would of have been pulled from any command position a long time ago. Gotta love scifi though. Awesome work on the effects.
