#7 of 8 This one requires a bit of explanation. According to some Native American myths, Raven was the one who brought fire to the people. He stole a burning branch from the lodge of the Gods (along with some other goodies) and carried it in his beak over the Earth. The smoke from it turned his once-white feathers black and when he finally dropped it, it landed among the stones which is why you can get fire from striking two stones together.
