Description

As the worlds population grew and the resources dwindled inevitably conflict broke out. There were two camps. The rich elite (the Alphas) who believed in continued evolution through genetic and cybernetic implants and the Peoples Freedom Movement who believed that resources should be spent instead on the ever growing underpriviledged. For many years the war was in stalement with the Alphas having superior technology but the Freedom Movement being numerically stronger. Both sides resisted the use of Nuclear Weapons lest planet Earth be destroyed. Then in the year 2313 the Freedom Movement broke through and the Alphas, about to be overrun, used their superior fusion and anti-matter bombs. This removed the threat from the Freedom Movement but made 80% of the planet uninhabitable. After many years of searching the Alphas discovered a new and unpolluted world in the year 2666, marking a new beginning. By this time the Alpha Androids although human in form were genetically incompatible with most humans, having been subject to designed genes for the past 500 years. Humans were retained in zoos, used in biological experiments and in the pleasure industry.
