Description

My son and me walked down this old boat ramp they had by the bridge and he showed me this beach coved with broken bottles. If you enlarge you will see the glass better. I have on my nikon 90 a 70mm s 280mm lens and that the only lens I have so that why it is out of forus in the foreground. thanks for looking and comments and votes.

A visual curiosity, but I assume going barefoot is out of the question! ;)

Cool textures in this photo, Jock. The reason there is glass on the beach is because if you expose sand to extreme temperatures it turns to glass. So, the beach is glass as the result of an atomic blast set off my an earlier civilization many eons ago, who we know nothing about.

WOW! This is incredible. Is this a consequence of poor waste management or was there a glass factory near by once upon a time?
