Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

You got any shots of Gary's place and how close the Lava is? and how fast is the Lava moving? How long before you think the lava will overtake his place?... or will it? Nice shot and interesting content.

True drama, Errol. I will be thinking of Gary and his family. I hope the lava flow misses his house. Hugs and Aloha. Diane. xx

How beautiful, but how much devastation. Tell Gary someone in Boone, North Carolina is thinking of him!

This is an amazing shot of the hand. It really does look like it is attempting to halt the flow. I wish the best for Gary and his home. Does he have his valuables out of it or will he lose everything? A scary and sad situation.

the hand of the lady of the volcano stop her lave so you can photo it to show the world. She saw you walk on her lava many time and show this act for you. [I do not know why that hand came up. My guess is that something under the lava got rolled over and the hand came up... my guess anway] hope the best for him. i know my house burn one time long ago. i hear you can go get the clothes free at the salvation army.

Oh, poor Gary, that would be a hard thing to take even with insurance. This is a truly stunning shot. I hope it stays away from your son's house.
