You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

They lined the streets in front of the neighbor hood I grew up so I have always had a fondness for them, I always search for eucalypts scented candles hard to find though. Lovely work!

This is very cleverly done and great to get two for one. Excellent work for a great result. We are getting more of these planted here now with everyone getting more water concious. They are a majestic tree and I have some just across the road from here in the park which are super.

You wrote, "Being typical Gemini, I couldn't decide wether to post the tree or the branch...so you get two for the price one!" Lol---I totally understand. And at the risk of repeating myself, this is another terrific transformation! The muscular horizontal branch makes such a fine contrast to the big but half-faded trunk behind it. You did this so well. The left-side of the branch almost seems like it's made of glass, where we can see the reflections of a night sky on it. And the yellow of the trunk is really strong contrast to all that blue. You really blended intuitively here---I'm telling you, you have a terrific way with these types of images. It's clearly a tree, but it's also a human limb, and it's a big strange ceramic something-or-other, and it's an abstract too. Terrific! I'm at an hour and 15 minutes here, so I have to stop for now, but this is a great place to stop...and I hope to be back soon, to get more of your wonderful inner eye. Really fine work, Brigitte, I really like your ways with images!
