Description
I have been searching for ideas and in one book I came across numerous photos of destroyed Panthers taken by Allied soldiers. Nearly all of the photos were of Panthers abandoned and destroyed by their crews. There were Panthers that were destroyed by Allied tanks but by far most ran out of gas or suffered mechanical problems and were abandoned.

good to see you back posting nice work

You've got the torsion bars annealed from the heat and sitting flat... a burned paint texture would look good here. (I'm reminded of the Cologne Panther.) I've checked out Littlefield's Panther A a few times (just down the road) and that is one complex beast. The Germans had NO business building it that late in the war - lol. Too much effort for too little payoff, especially as their armor plate quality started dropping. Very nice render, I like the composition especially.

Dang, who's got the keys now??

As stated above, with the torsion bar suspension destroyed by heat, a partially burned paint job would heighten the realism. But, besides that, great job. Keep up the good work. I'm looking for more! :) I'd love one of those to drive around in!

Ranman38 provides a burnout hull for this scene. It started out with heavy rain fall, hence the un-burnt hull, then I changed the weather to rain, then drizzle and finnally NO rain. It was also black and white, with an antique touch (like almost all of my renders) and ended up color (like all of my renders). I did forget to change the hull from un-burnt to burnt in all of that indecision. Sorry!
