Description

Afternoon all :o) A step on from yesterday`s pic ,He went from being jovial to deep in thought whilst in control of the ferry we were on .I think there is such a lot that can be read from this fella`s face ,what I would call character :o). Thanks for the look and take care. Mick

This looks really great in monochrome. I got a pic of him smiling, such a difference in one face!

I would expect a captain to be all business at the wheel. If he wasn't focused, I'd ask to get off. Wonderful feeling and emotion in this portrait. I can feel his intensity and his love for his work.

You're right, there's no need for words when looking at this guy's expression and face. A superb capture and b/w photographic treatment.

WOW! This is intense! I think the b&w really heightens the emotional impact of this (no colors jiggling and dancing around, demanding your attention like a house full of cats) and the human focus really simmers with all sorts of implied stories. This is a fantastic shot, incredibly compelling.
