Description
Although I didn't take these photos today I did create them today.
I was doing cyanotypes with my photography students and I made these two as demonstration pieces. My students are of the digital generation and have never used film, consequently they have never seen negatives. Our course is purely digital but I felt they would get a hint of the photographic magic by processing their own images.
We made negatives by inkjet printing onto acetates. We exposed them in a UV unit - cloudy day today unfortunately - and then washed them to reveal the image. Teenagers being what they are, I'm not sure if they were impressed or not, sometimes it's hard to translate their grunts :-)
I enjoyed it though.

That's so cool! Kudos for your lesson, too. I love digital photography, but my background in film and light from the "good old days" is invaluable. I'm impressed at your creativity in how you made your negatives, too.
