Description

Hi there. Yesterday I told you about the Monster that was killing bees at work. Then, as I visit your galleries, I saw a shot from Andrea with a crab-spider with guests. I will show you the guests of the big Spider in the Lavender. As I watched the scene through the cam I realized the flies around the spider but I saw not the details that I found on the PC. The flies where completely without fear and sit on the spiders legs and on the dead bee body - one of them shows a sphere of spit or so on her head. I was completely amazed about the scene. Hope you like too and there is not to much violence for somebody :) - try the full view to see the fly in the upper center of the image. Have all a great day and thank you all for your support.

Wow - I see him! And he is much braver than I would be with the monster so near - well done!

Isn't it astonishing, Markus?! I wonder if there is any writings about why they do this, and how they stay safe. An absolutely brilliant pic, I'm glad you have seen this behaviour first hand as well as me!

Wow! The scale of the flies gives an indication as to the size of the predator and prey! Very cool capture man!

Wow! The flies do get involved - not a small spider! Clive
