Description

Nella foto di oggi vediamo una visione più recente di Viareggio , mia città  natale , scattata dal molo un centinaio di metri più avanti della foto di ieri . Qui , agli occhi di tutti , vediamo una scultura bronzea di Inaco Biancalano , grande artista viareggino intitolata " L'attesa " In the picture we now see a more recent Viareggio, my hometown, taken from the pier a few hundred meters ahead of the photos yesterday. Here, everyone's eyes, we see a bronze sculpture of Inaco Biancalana, big fellow artist entitled "The wait". The mountains in the background are the Apuan Alps. L'Attesa , scultura bronzea di Inaco Biancalana The Wait, bronze sculpture of Inachus Biancalana The Wait, according to many critics, is one of the most moving creations and communicative Inachus. It 's a wood sculpture dated 1947 Height 95 cm, belonging to the collection Biancalana. The main thrust of the work is hope. The statue depicts a family who anxiously awaits the arrival of the vessel. The attitude of the five characters (the old navarch with the child that surrounds the knees, the wife of the sailor with his son in his arms and the sailor's sister), while static posture and fixity of the gaze that scrutinizes the horizon, however, gives the viewer the opportunity to become participant in the scene with great excitement and emotion. The pain is deep and intimate generated by an ardent desire to return. Waiting In The characters depicted are immersed in a single compact block in a tight embrace, through great expressive intensity and physicality. Inachus had always wanted one of his works placed near the sea, to which he was very fond of. In fact, after several attempts and permits, the City approved the provision of a copy of the bronze statue, larger. So Jonathan Francesconi, the most famous tank crewmen of the Viareggio Carnival, however, accepted the project and made some changes to the personal work originally done in clay. Jonathan has heard and assimilated the artistic peculiarities of the sculptor Viareggio much to restore the scenic value. The bronze sculpture is located on the Quay in Viareggio and placed on the rock called the "Scoglio di Tito," which in the past before the destruction of the city by the Germans, was to stand at a famous restaurant in Viareggio. The work embodies the deepest roots of memory and draws people from Viareggio no doubt the meaning of affection, brotherhood and mutual love. It shows an impressive structure in the presence of the majesty of the sea. The opening work was July 6, 2007. The Wait, very dear to the town of Viareggio, easily demonstrates the artist's attachment to the community of Viareggio. The merger work The monument from the wait has been made with the technique of lost wax casting. The magnification in clay work was edited by Jonathan Francesconi original sketch from a wood Inachus Biancalana, then follow various stages. The model was run a negative real plaster, from which several copies were made in wax, then retouched and covered with refractory material. Forms obtained were placed in a furnace at high temperature to create the melting wax, was later cast bronze liquid cooling that took the form of the desired shape. After this stage, Jonathan and his collaborators, has proceeded to clean up completely and the assembly by welding the individual pieces of work representing the people. Eventually we moved to the coating with the respective colors of the surface by natural oxidation. Moreover, the work served both to make the work more aesthetically exciting for observers, and to protection against the elements that determine aging. Good day and good week Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous image
