Description

here I think the office mess is. I do not think the crew eats here. I could not go into the room for there was a net covering the enter way with a hole in it about eye level. I put my camera in the hole and shot some photos. This was the best one for this room. I think I got the crew mess hall some where. I got some photos still in my camera I can not get out for they not on the chip they in the camera memory. lol Now i got to find the box with the instructions to read how to get it off the camera

Out of everything in this photo to draw my interest, the first thing I see is the radio! The whole shot is nice and I love the fact that your POV is good enough to make me think you were there, rather than on the other side of a barrier! Great photographic work. Nice details.

Good eyes on catching those lights, folks. This is the officers' mess on a destroyer -- in battle it served as a hospital station and that was an operating table.
