Description

African Jacana (Actophilornus Africana), taken at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom, Orlando, Florida. The Jacanas are a group of waders in the family Jacanidae, which are identifiable by their huge feet and claws which enable them to walk on floating vegetation in the shallow lakes that are their preferred habitat. They are 11 inches(28cm) long and the females are larger than the males. Their heads look like a coot. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
