In vino veritas....and in this case an attractive image too! A full bodied wine, some fruit, some bread...all you are missing is a little cheese for a perfect repast! Now I'm hungry! :) Marvelous illustration!

Always a big fan of still life art,had to do so many back in the day for art assignments to where I was always finding items to shove into a scene.Of course we had to "draw" them with pencil or etch them out of ink and aluminum foil. Nice Work Carl! I'd share the thought of red wine myself but I get super silly after one glass....lol... William

Argh, my supper still has a half hour in the oven and now I have to cope with an image like this. It is truely mouth watering in its rich detial. A cover for a cookbook on the joys of using only the best and most fresh products. One can fairly smell the rich notes of toasted pumpernickel wafted over with delicate bouquet of pears, and what is that, but a note of rich leather and tannin wafting from the glass of Old Vine Zinfandel seeping over the rim of the goblet.
