Description

This is the debut of a new character from my story. Dhuan is the lone female member of W'rath's little pack of psionic rogues. She's unusual for a couple of reasons, A) she's a pretty powerful psion, and in my "world" female dark elves are rarely gifted in that area, and B) she's half light elf, Sky Elf to be specific (Sky Elves are my equivalent to the Forgotten Realm's Moon Elves - pre-4.0). The twins refer to her as Little Sister despite the fact that she's neither their sister nor all that little. She's taller than most dark elves (though nowhere near as tall as Raven) and willowy like her mother. She's just a kid by elf standards, but shows a lot of promise in terms of her skills, and her perky goth attitude ensures that she's pretty much up for anything. Let's see... Hair is Propschick's Dark Wolf Hair (DAZ). The skin texture is Warrior Maiden Ashe by Surreality (DAZ)with some manual adjustments I made to the diffuse, specularity, specular color and lighting model to get things more in line with my idea of a proper skin tone (I prefer cooler hues as opposed to warmer hues). The outfit is Kazai by Val3DArt (DAZ) with textures by motif - MORE Textures & Styles for Kazai (Rendo). The socks and boots are cobbled together from some other sets, and I apologize, but I can't remember which. The straps and hose on her legs are from Lizzy Ann by Rhiannon (Rendo) The structure is one of the many PC mausoleum-like buildings at DAZ - can't remember which. Lighting is from the new UberSoft Lighting Kit by omnifreaker (DAZ). In addition I added one specular only distance light set at 25% to bring out some of the sheen in her skin.

Oh, nice! I really like the lighting in this one. Manages to give the impression of being night time without making it impossible to see the image.

I note that you as well do not leave the eyeleashes white, they just look strange then, no matter how realistic.

Actually, Azatoth, I did choose white eyelashes, but for some reason they don't render very bright. I do agree it looks strange. I may have to see about adding some ambient to the eyelashes to make them stand out as white more.
