looks like Prissy's "light" or "Soul" soared through the window to the afterlife - leaving an emptiness - like an empty nest.... as I read you were feeling empty, my puppy was in the background chewing on a squeeky toy - he's got 4 of them = it's so cute, he gets them going for 5 minutes... give yourself time to grief, it's hard, but you might want to go to a dog shelter and save a life - I'd suggest a mini pincher, they're full of love in a little box.

I'm still grieving the loss of my sweet Winky almost a year ago now. I didn't want another kitty right away. But one day for some reason I felt compelled to visit the animal shelter. I found a lovely kitty who needed my love and who desperately needed to be rescued. Her time was running out. I realized how much we needed each other. She was a second chance kitty meaning she had been adopted and then brought back for some reason. She has turned out to be a very loving and wonderful companion. She will never replace Winky. But she has helped heal my broken heart. I tell her about him all the time. I love her just as much as I loved Winky and I think God for leading me to the shelter that day to rescue her. You have a lot of love to give and I just know there's another pup out there who needs you when the time is right. My heart goes out to you.

I cannot imagine having to come home to an empty house. When our first dog died, Gracie Anne was already here. And when she died, the B-dog and Murphy were here. Murphy has been such a comfort to me, and I to him. Murphy used to be Gracie Anne's dog, smiles, now I have to fill her .. um .. paw prints? You know what I mean. In time, healing does begin, I just don't know when. I can feel that emptiness in your fractal .. but somehwere in that darkness, there is light.
