Description

Hi Guys. Finnished the new HammerStein model. But I thought about how I could get it to look like the old original illustrators work. The styles I used to emulate when I was a kid in the 70's and 80's. So I went for black and white shaders with some heavy fractal bumps and harsh lighting. I think it has worked out as a cross between Frank Miller, Mike Mignola and Kev Walkers work. Modelled with Ampai D7 and Carrara 8Pro. Thanks for looking and good luck with your latest projects. Z

Excellent cartoon look! Only those gradients ... Sure, you did a great work with the shaders, but a simple threshold in postwork would yield a real black and white ink work ...

Excellent stuff. I have to say I prefer the early ones where they looked like robots like this one does. Was never a fan of the Simon Bisley ones.
