Description

Another photo from the Fullerton Arboretum last week. Never really got great close up shots of these large bees before. But there were plenty out there to work with. Thanks for looking. Bruce Recommend FULL SIZE ZOOM.

WOW! A Stealth Bee! An Area 51 experimental bee! Well...maybe not, but this is an amazing shot of something I've never seen before! I love the details and get a load of that face! WOW! Excellent details and some nicely complicated mandibles! I love all of the sharp details all over this beauty of a shot! Amazing!

I have a nest of carpenter bees and I've tried for 3 years to get a good detailed shot of one of them. You have just knocked me over with this stunning capture!
