Description

Hi Everyone, here is a butterfly I had never managed to find here before today. It was a sunny though very breezy day. I took upwards of fifteen photos of this one as it flew flower to flower in the wind. I chose this one over the rest to share here in the gallery. It was fun and I hope some enjoy seeing it. A half hour after the photo the field was mowed clean- no flowers for this fellow to land on. Thanks for the look and any comment you care to type. -GB-

Great shot with the proboscis well into the flower! He's almost a perfect specimen too and the antennae are even lined up, but he is missing one leg, probably a work-site accident!
