Description

Hey look, another super hero. LOL StudioArtVartanian suggested that I might want to look into the Captain America redesign thing that Rooftop is doing and Renderosity is promoting. I didn't know anything about it until she mentioned it, thanks Joanna. So here is my submission, a Captain America on steroids sort of thing. The armor is pieced together from the Ghrim package from Sanctum Art's and modified to fit David. I've been using it quite a bit, but since it cost so much I'm going to get my moneys worth. Speaking of worth, that armor is worth every penny, it's amazing. This is also an edited version. After posting the first a good friend pointed out that the helmet was lacking any Captain America icons. He was right, so the wings were added. Thanks Mike. As always thanks for the peek.

WOW! VERY cool Roy! Hopefully THIS Captain America will be protected well enough that he doesn't suffer the same fate as the original one. Nice work.

I saw this contest on the front page, no prizes - lol... but before I read that, I was going to do something... I also thought of how you are the artist that I think of when it comes to superheros here and was hoping you'd take a stab at it... I think it looks perfect and should be the top of the contest... you did change some things around with adding armour, changed the shield by adding bumps... The helment looks good with the blue and red, but I'd have to say the head is the weak spot in your design - IF you had a weak spot.... the "A" on his forehead is missing - I can live with that.... the Wings on the side of his head are missing.... well, if you just take a head shot of the way you have it, it says police cop - there is no ID that says "Capt. America" on his head... I suggest just a little more thought on the head will make this go the distance... Maybe two "A"s on the sides of the head... His shield design the way you have it on the sides of his head.... if at all possible, the way his mask is on his face as a helmet would do wonders too.... You're probably done with this and I think you did fantastic!!!

OK - This isn't just Captain America, this is Captain America SIR!!!! Maybe this guy can get things cleaned up - our 'leaders' don't seem to have a clue. FANTASTIC work on this, Roy! You are indeed the Jedi Master of the Superhero genre. You should be doing these for the comic books. Excellent, my friend!
