I have been messing about with digital art since I got my first color PC in the late 80's, was painting and drawing long before then. This is very much escapism from my everyday brass-tacks job.
My other creative hobbies include photography (mostly nature) and reproducing 18th c. material goods, especially things from the SE US native people.
I joined 'rosity in 2000, and have lurked much more than actively participated. I appreciate all the help, advice and support that members here share freely.

Normally I'm bothered by an unlevel horizon, especially water because I feel it will pour out of the frame, however, the action an the dynamics of this shot seem to call for the tilt. Stellar shot with superb composition.

The ultimate in kite flying! Had a land buggy myself I could go really fast in a straight line Tacking and going slow in a figure of 8 was more difficult!

Mrs Lubner - I was bothered by the angle on the horizon too; I didn't have much choice, as the shot was taken in the water on a 'yak on the crest of a wave. I was in the troughs on the rest of the shots while she was still in reasonable distance. I tried to adjust it, but it just didn't look right for some reason.
