Description
Lady samurai Shinku Akine attains much glory after leading her clan to victory against the rebel uprising. Fearing her new popularity, her clan daimyo has sent her to the royal palace to act as head courtier to ensure Akine can't plot to take over the clan.
Upon the top level of the royal ferry, Akine ponders her fate in this new battlefield where wars are won with words alone.
Now Akine must put away her armor and weapons to be replaced with ceremonial kimonos and decorative fans. A woman born for action she dreads this new world where women wield parasols instead of swords.
