Description
Off and on I’ve kept a journal where I write to Casey, my muse. I share with her all my hopes, dreams, sorrows. She appeared when I was in my early teens and with her help let me write stories (of course I would never share those stories with anyone now), she showed me how to let my creative side come out. Later she was there when I wanted to sing, when I was in junior high I had my class mates convinced I was gonna be a rock star. But I stopped listening to her and that dream died. She appears mostly in my dreams planting seeds. Because of her I learned how to work with stained glass, stamping, needlework, creating designs for my daughters clothing when she was little. Lately she appeared when I started looking into using Daz Studios. She is demanding, gets mad at me, sometimes leaves me. In talking a with a good friend of mine we decided that our muses get together to talk about us and party.
There are many sides to her, she is beautiful and when she turns it on I am on fire with ideas. When I listen to her she helps me to bring out various sides of my personality, some I don’t dare to show expect in my images. Casey is a part of me and I would be lost if she were to disappear forever.
When I saw Stagehand007 at DA challenge to Show Your Muse I had to try and see if I could capture her. I must say Casey is pleased with the result but told me I really need to get my butt into gear and learn some new things. So I’m listening to her and stepping outside my comfort zone to learn some new software and techniques.
