Description

Acrophobia or vertigo, anyone? Look out below! Captured 7/12/10, early on an overcast morning, just outside a shopping mall within walking distance of my heavenly hermitage. Better viewed full size. These are not any of the several tall palm trees shown in a long row previously posted. TTFN, thankx for dropping by, and for any and all complimentary comments and faves.

Guess where you won't be finding me! Wow... I had no idea palm trees got quite that big but the long shots really give them context. Nice series!

How tall do these palms get? I am rather sure that nobody trimmed them in the days before these hydralic marvels. Very interesting collage Harry.

That's the way to do it. I had a palm tree in my back yard in California; I hired some tree folks to trim them, and a guy put on climbing straps and shimmied up (ouch!!! those suckers are sharp!) Wouldn't want his job, it was worth every penny! It wasn't quite as tall as these, but tall enough! Great shots of a dirty job!

Those are some tall palms Harry. I'd hate to get hit by a coconut, falling from that height. Nice collage. Dana
