Happy Birthday dear friend, The party has started for you here. Look who have all shown up. The woodlice send their apologies, they just couldn't make it. I had to throw in the stinging insect so I could say look Chipka a wasp!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More like hornet, but it still stings. I found it most appropriate to also throw in the caterpillar from our adventures in ninja photography and the raid upon the Chicago Lake front. I raise my coffee to you and say: May love and light follow you always, May the sun shine upon all you daylight shots, May you always find interesting insects to share. and may the best of fortunes come your way all year. What a wonderful collection, Cheri! Each birthday guest is so beautifully framed in the natural world. Really well done and wonderful to see Chip there in the middle of such a profusion of insects. Excellent image and dedication!

WOW! I really love this! I remember that caterpillar! So colorful...kinda like the Ninjas, only he didn't say much. I really love those ants on the peony buds, are those your peonies? They're among the only flowers I can name, and I love their smell. Ants apparently like them too, but that's a good thing, I like ants! Oh yes, I still have that image of you in my mind scampering sedately while calling a particular narrow-waist paper wasp to my attention. I don't know how, but you did manage a rather sedate and dignified scamper. I love this collage, as you can guess! The whole thing is just perfect and I really love the way everything's laid out and framed. This rocks. Thank you for the dedication and the great big smile I now have plastered on my face! Yeah, I like this a lot!

A very belated yet well wished happiest of birthdays for the Chipster!! This is a great dedi sweetie, and to have him in the middle with that cup on his head is perfect!! I had thought just maybe for a wee bit, that he had glued it to the top of his head. The beetles on the lower left should really probably go get a room! I didn't know they went in to rut!
