In my youth, some of the books I read (historical novels, fantasy) had pictures in it in a style of drawing, which comes very close to this picture. It was before the time of computers (for most people at least) and far before such drawing programs as Poser etc. This picture could have been in such a book. Well done. (If I remember correctly those "old" pictures were done with a pencil or pen and ink and then colored with watercolors in a very narrow specter of colors, usually in browns and yellows ore even grays.)
