Great capture. NO WAY IN THE WORLD you would get me on one of those for a tour, let alone to actually be a crew member. WAY to claustrophobic!!

I thought so. Just googled U-434 and confirmed my hunch this was a former Soviet sub: Those windows in the sail are a real giveaway.but I could not place the class... those humongous 'sonar domes' were making me nuts... well, I will let others research this feature for themselves. :-) BTW check out the websites on this boat; it's worth the trip.

Like weesel I looked this up on Google. A Soviet submarine now a museum. Great image. German submarines were much better looking. Wie weesel Ich sah diese auf Google. Ein sowjetisches U-Boot ist heute ein Museum. Tolles Bild. Deutsch-U-Boote waren sucht viel besser.
