Description
Just a simple image of the flowing Navajo sandstone with a splash of color from some late bloomers. Most flowers are past there expiration date by June, but thanks to El Nino the blooms are about one month behind. The yellow are Mules ears and the purplish flowers are Sage brush.

You know I'm a big fan of your sandstone images. Here I can rave about something other than its beautiful lines and color (still very present of course!) I love sage, both as a seasoning and as a color. Here that beautiful silvery green looks wonderful against the ruddy sandstone! Excellent composition, detail, and light! I love the sage going off into the distance on the left. Beautiful image!
