I must admit to not being at all a towny person. I've lived in London and wasn't too keen. However, that doesn't negate me from stating that it is one of the most wonderful cities in the world for architecture, right up there alongside Paris. This image is simply perfect! It shows the gentler side of the city and the pub is fabulous! ^=^

Last time I was there for a pint was back in the Sixties - how time flies! Nice photo. At the time we didn't know where it was and spent ages in Baker Street before a policemen told us where it was!

Really nice, a bit like Montmartre in Paris, but cleaner and fresher. A place I'd like to stop and have a Guiness at. Reminds me of my year in England 1969 - 70, and all the quaint eateries and interesting nooks and cranies. Was in London 1996, too many foreigners, too few Englishmen, and even less John Cleese "Ministry of Silly Walk" types (pinstripes, bowler hat, umbrella and portfolio). Sigh. Times change things, but the buildings are still there. Nice photo. :)
