Description
The title, of course, is a Calvin & Hobbes reference--I love those comics. I might be the only one in the world, but I swear I'd adopt Calvin. Nothing wrong with having a kid just like oneself. ;)
Anyway, I didn't intend to postwork this one so heavily when I made it, but I wasn't thrilled with the background, and the C&H reference plus the Rockwell-esque subject matter just compelled me to go for a more illustrated look.
Kids + mud = there. ;)

That is fun and I loved C&H too - I'd adopt Calvin as well. Having a kid with such an imagination would be a treasure. The only thing I noticed here, though, was that the kid standing - where there was no mud on his head, it ends rather abruptly and suddenly on his neck. I love the postwork effect, though.

Yup, I'd saw that was about right - kids + mud = Big fun - and moping the floor and doing laundry for mom! LOL - love it.

MUD RULEZ!!! Really cool, fun image. How did that kid on the right keep his hair so neat? The postwork is perfect for this.
