Description

I've been creating some road signs to go with my Normandy period renders, but I'm bogged down, whatever info is available is mostly in BW photos. I cant figure out what colour determines whether a road is departementale or nationale. So I need some help. I've based my models on the pictures, I don't even have plans or dimensions, these are approximate. What I need as info is what colour determines the different type of roads & what would be written there. And at all if possible where would I find information on the different types of road signs used in france during WWII. These are works in progress & aren't complete some of them still need aging. All comments & help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have some old 1/35 diorama signs I can scan, if I can find them. But a trip to your local model shop could help and look for 1/35th verlinden wwii signs etc.
