Taken last eve...my first capture of lightning.

Nice Shot! Last night coming home on the bus from Seattle, I thought I was seeing thunderheads over the Cascades. It turns out, 2000 plus lightening strikes had kicked off wildfires and the heat from the fires was creating a "fire nimbus". The heat pushes what little moisture there was east of the Cascades high into the atmo and created what looked like a thunder head. The wild fire (one of two) currently at 4000 acres and growing.
