Description
Once upon a time a young lady attended Venice High School in California as an exchange student from Japan. The family she lived with had a son named Randy and they soon became friends. A few years later Randy met Larry and they became friends. A few years after that I met Larry and we became friends. When Larry told Randy that he was going to Japan, Randy told him to say hello to his friend Chika. And so it was that we four travelers arrived in Tokyo and were immediately taken under the protection of Chikako Hirota.
Chika became our guide and advisor and absolutely refused to let us pay for anything while we were with her. She showed us her 400 square foot apartment, introduced us to her fiancé and took us to dinner at a fancy restaurant in trendy Shinjuku. She was an office worker living in Tokyo so we knew that she really had to stretch to do this for four strangers. Among my circle she would be known as one fabulous babe.
