Description
Out driving around one day, I snapped a picture of this broken down barn. I thought I'd pretty it up a little bit.
It's these cool old barns that are being torn down, only to be replaced with tin sheds. (sad) I wish more people would just restore them.

Great catch! This is pure americanism, in my opinion. What could be more typical for some parts of the U.S. as this old barns? It is a shame to damage them... Thanks for sharing!

Oh, I agree that old barns should be restored. I passed zillions of them recently on a job that took me into central Illinois! WOW! It was Heaven for people into old barns with sagging roofs! I didn't take my camera with me and I'm still kicking myself over that one. As for this image though, it's quite a beauty. I love the postwork as well...it only adds to the image in so nicely non-distracting a way. This is gorgeous.
